About

A trusted voice Central Oregon already knows.

Meet Dorrell Wenninger

Dorrell Wenninger has been forecasting for Central Oregon since 2018. As Chief Meteorologist at Central Oregon Daily News for more than eight years, he built a reputation for accurate, honest forecasting without the hype.

Now he's doing it independently, on your schedule and not a broadcast clock.

Central Oregon Weather delivers hyperlocal forecasts across digital, mobile, and social platforms. Built around local conditions, local people, local impacts, and local businesses.

Dorrell holds a degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University and brings 16 years of professional forecasting experience to every forecast.

“Central Oregon deserves an independent, locally owned weather company delivering reliable, hyperlocal forecasts. Built around local conditions, local people, local impacts, and local businesses.”
